Prevent Restore

In the Windows environment, whenever you delete a file or a folder, no matter if you use Windows Explorer or a 3rd party manager for this purpose, that certain file is not completely removed and it's still hidden on the hard disk. By using specialized recovery software, anybody can easily recover all the deleted files and folders.

As the name suggests, this program can completely remove files and folders from a hard disk, preventing their restoration, no matter what recovery software is used. After the application is installed, the user will be taken through a step by step wizard, which will guide him through the deletion process. The first thing to do is to select the partition that should be cleaned up and then select the type of cleanup that should be performed, either standard or complete.

Next, the user can optionally configure Prevent Restore to remove Windows page files and also clean up the recycle bin. Having all these settings configured, the cleanup process can begin. In no time, the hard disk space will be wiped and all the deleted files and folders will be completely removed.
